When traveling in a plane you get a view of the earth that you could never see from the ground. The Book of Revelation provides a view of reality, past, present and future, that you could never get from human insight. The apostle John saw heaven opened, and the vision he was given has been an incredible source of encouragement and perspective for the church through the ages. The style is daunting, filled with images, repetitions, symbols and stories, yet we recognize a familiar echo from the sixty five books of scripture that have preceded it. It is book that is not intended to be explained as it is to be experienced. We are invited not only to read, but to hear. You are invited to join the Apostle John who saw a door standing open to heaven (Rev 4.3), and to encounter the glory Jesus as never before.
Busy? Look. Listen. Love.
